Tuck-a-roo turns 15 months old today! He went from no walking to basically zooming in a week. He's still a bit unsteady on his feet and thus owns a few new lumps on the head. Thomas is most proud of his brother and takes the credit for teaching him this skill. Tucker has also started watching t.v.....something Thomas didn't do until at least the age of 3. The "sofa photos" are of all the boys watching "How to Build a John Deere Combine." At least it keeps them happy while I cook!

Let's see....a few funny conversations:
Brooke: Thomas, what gift should we give Aunt Katelyn's twin babies when they arrive?
Thomas: TUCKER! He can play with 'dose babies.
What a convenient way to become an only child again! Although flattered, Aunt Katelyn said having two was enough and Tucker was truly not needed. haha!

While studying a book on US Presidents....
Brooke: Thomas, this man was our third president and has YOUR name...Thomas Jefferson.
Thomas: Hum. 'Dat man looks like Bo Duke. 'Dey got da same hair!
I'm pretty sure in the history of our great nation NO ONE has ever realized that TJ and Bo Duke styled their do's the same.

Happy Birthday Aunt Julie! Here are the photos you requested for your birthday. haha!

Tom & Tuck had a busy June. Both boys attended our Vacation Bible School. Thomas enjoyed being with his friends and Tucker liked the pretty nursery workers who doted on him for hours each evening.

Thomas's big news of the month is that he is now enrolled in the 4-K program at Hickory Grove-Sharon Elementary. He is BEYOND thrilled! It's a small school with wonderful people, so we are excited that Thomas's "formal" education will begin in August. The program is 5 days per week, but only 2.75 hours per day. Perfect! I bet Tucker will enjoy being an only child those few hours too.

Thomas is now swimming (it only took a few lessons for him to catch on). Tuckie is FINALLY walking....some. He would still rather crawl or (better yet) be toted around. The fellows got to spend a little time on the beach this week. What a treat. Thomas maximized his time by darting from the ocean, to the sand, to the pool, and then back to the ocean again. Tucker refused to step into the ocean but did finally take a spin on the lazy river since that activity could be done on his mom's lap. We called home and told Matt that Tucker wasn't too into the sand and waves...which pleased Matt who also dislikes the beach in the summer. Oh well. At least one son took after me! Thomas took after his dad though when it comes to a love of heights. He demanded to ride the tall Ferris wheel beside our hotel. I got SCARED when we got stuck on the top (as they loaded passengers). It was windy and I could see lightning over the ocean. I blasted Thomas for moving a little in his seat and he responded with, "Let's just have fun, friend." haha!
