The boys' spring photos....Thomas at 5 1/2 and Tucker at age 2. :)

Sweet Tuckie turned 2 today. Of course he's been celebrating for days. :) Just a quick story that captures Tucker's personality. We had the oil changed in our car today and while in the waiting room, Tuck grabbed my purse and produced $0.50 and a piece of gum. He played with the money after he ate the gum and then spied a shelf of chips. He asked for the chips (it was his birthday so I gave in), and I told him they cost money and showed him how to pay the cashier. He devoured the chips and about 15 minutes later he got up, rummaged through my pocketbook and pulled out a nickel and penny. He marched to the counter, gave the man the money and picked up another bag of chips. I took his picture while he was still smiling his "I know I'm cute" smile---in other words BEFORE I made him get my money back and replace the chips. haha!

The boys have been loving this early spring weather. We took them camping on the farm. It was Tucker's first trip and he had a blast. He got very tickled in the tent, but after about 6 times of HUSH TUT from his family, he went on to sleep and slept all night! Thomas is on spring break this week and sadly announced his teacher had gone to the beach. Let's hope the poor lady has the nerve to return. ha! He's missing his friends but is enjoying playing at home. My uncle brought the boys his old metal cow trough so they've been swimming in their "redneck pool" as Thomas calls it. Care to guess how long it took me to clean the new pool? It was covered in red mud raccoon tracks! Just added to the charm. I'll have to get some pictures for my next post.

Five years ago tonight Matt and I were SUPER NERVOUS! We had just met our Thomas and had no idea if that monkey would sleep or not. For the record, he was an angel. The "honeymoon" lasted about 3 nights until he realized he had landed a couple of pushovers and from that point on he decided if he wanted ANYTHING (like say a bottle in the middle of the night), then his new "suckas" would get it done. haha! Happy Gotcha Day to you Thomas Roy!

Happy Valentine's Day from Thomas and Tucker! The guys have spent a lot of time lately at the sawmill working for their dad...nothing like hauling sawdust. I think my washing machine would like a new home. Tuckie is talking a lot more these days but eating less. He's down to pretty much just chicken, grapes, grits, and raisins. No bread and no pasta. Urgh. But never fear, he would gladly eat junk food if I wanted him too. Thomas continues to enjoy K-4. He received his first marriage proposal last week and after thinking on it a day, he announced he'd say yes. Hum.

The boys, especially Tucker, have enjoyed some added time with their new twin cousins Ethan and Luke (Matt's sister's sons). I included a photo of them and an update of my nephew Mac. Lots of sweet boys in the family!!
